Spotted at Sock Summit
Posted on Aug 14, 2009 in sock knitting
My dear friend, Liz Plam of Portland Oregon, sent me a couple photos of two other dear friends sporting sock artist t-shirts at the recent Sock Summit.
In the center is my beautiful and accomplished friend, Anne, in the lovely “Anatomy of a sock” t-shirt.
Doesn’t she look stunning?
Anne is flanked on both sides by the kooky and amazing Adrienne, a true sock artist and awesome knitter in her own right. If you get a chance, stop by Close Knit and say “Howdy” to Adrienne and all my old friends at CK. I miss them sooooooo much!
If you are knot a sock knitter, you probably didn’t hear about this esoteric conference, but it was the talk of the blogosphere last week. The Sock Summit was the brainchild of Stephanie Pearl-McPhee aka the Yarn Harlot and Tina Newton of Blue Moon Fiber Arts. From what I heard, SS09 was a great success and I already have plans to attend next year. Many thanks to Liz for sending me these photos.

Chris, we missed you there! I thought of you many times last weekend – thinking you should have been there selling your merchandise, wishing you could have come to the Ravelry meetup, etc. We miss you, too!
